Service of Light - December 21, 2011
On Wednesday December 21 we gathered in a Service of Light, a time on the shortest day of the year to bring some of the Light of Christ into our lives. Using the scripture where Jesus says he came to set captives free, we reflected on God's lov, our own captivity, and how we can release the life of God within us. The candles around the image are our hopes for the world.

Our services are an experiential engagement with scripture woven with times of stillness and always include a Eucharist. Each one is different, especially created to reflect the scripture theme from the weekly text.

Each year Companions on the Way and those interested in becoming Companions, gather for friendship, community business and most important to refresh their Rhythm of Life and renew their intent to follow it for another year. Companions mark the day and consider who you know who would be interested in joining us!
